Great Autumn weather accompanied us on our drive south and
provided ideal conditions for the trip up to Everest Base Camp. |
| A 'caravan' of Landcruisers made the journey a comfortable
one throughout - despite occasionally getting bogged down! |

A fantastic mountain flight across the Himalayan massif gave
a great taster of the scenic wonders ahead, |
| Next stop for The Oriental Caravan is
the enigmatic Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan where we will trek deep into the
country's cultural heartland of Bumthang. Reports will follow...
Happy travels!
From Phil
