- Very good indeed. A vacation of very
great interest and many pleasures, sometimes unexpected, such as the kabuki
Theatre in Kotohira.

- In contrast to other trips I saw offered
by other operators, the combination of Shikoku and Tohoku has shown me the
Japan of the traveller and not the tourist. Except for Kyoto we have not
seen western faces anywhere. I think the two trips show the participant what
real Japan looks like - not just the "highlights" where only tourists go. We
had lost of fun and very good company. TOC's style of guidance is just
ideal: enough freedom - and information to use that freedom wisely.

- A really well constructed tour which I
thoroughly enjoyed. There was enough time to be able to do a substantial
amount of one’s own sightseeing which I greatly welcome. Reminiscing with
friends and looking at our photographs reminded of us of all the many small
things that pieced together such a great travel experience. I like the way
Phil conducts tours. Thank you.
