Japan Earthquake - photos of tsunami damage
Photos taken by Mr Kunio Kadowaki of damage caused
by the massive tsunami
that engulfed Japan's Tohoku (North east) seaboard following the earthquake
at 2.46pm March 11th, 2011.
These photos were taken in Iwate and Miyagi
prefectures
during an assignment there between April 8th and April 13th.

The massive task of recovery for the
affected areas is still in its early stages. Months later, many
thousands of people still remain homeless, many having lost everything. The
cost of the clean up is simply enormous. Donations are very much still
